    Frequently Asked Questions

What makes IS Fans different from traditional fans?

Traditional fans consume high wattage (80–120 watts), while IS Fans utilize advanced BLDC motor technology and 99.9% pure copper winding. Our inverter series consumes only 30–55 watts, reducing your electricity bills by up to 70%.

Can I run IS Fans on my solar or UPS system?

Yes. Our AC/DC inverter fans are specifically designed to be solar-ready and UPS-compatible. They can operate directly on 12V DC power from batteries or solar panels and 220V AC from the grid.

Do these fans work during low-voltage or fluctuations?

Our fans are engineered to handle Pakistan’s fluctuating grid conditions. The integrated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) allows them to run consistently even when input voltage drops significantly.

Why does my inverter fan take a small "jerk" when starting?

This is a normal characteristic of BLDC motors. It occurs because the internal sensors and microcontrollers are aligning the magnetic poles of the rotor before the fan starts rotating.

Are IS Fans noisy during operation?

No. By using electronic commutation instead of mechanical brushes, our fans eliminate the humming noise often found in conventional fans, providing whisper-quiet air delivery even at high speeds.

What is the benefit of a 99.9% pure copper motor?

Pure copper winding ensures higher electrical conductivity and less heat generation. This leads to a longer motor life, better energy efficiency, and durability against the intense summer heat.

Can I use a regular wall dimmer with my inverter fan?

It is highly recommended to use the provided RF remote control instead of a traditional wall dimmer. Using a standard dimmer can damage the internal PCB (electronic kit) of an inverter fan.

What is the recommended height for installation?

For optimum air throw and cooling, fan blades should ideally be approximately 3 meters (10 feet) from the ground and at least 0.5 meters (1.5 feet) away from the ceiling.

Where can I find IS Fans Pakistan for purchase?

Our main office is located near the Sialkot Bypass in Gujranwala. You can also place orders through our official website at www.isfans.pk or contact us via WhatsApp at 0337-1500111.

Do your fans come with a warranty?

Yes. While specific terms apply, most inverter fan motors in the industry carry a 5-year warranty, with the electronic PCB kits typically covered for 1–2 years against manufacturing defects.
